Stunning Bride in MEG Jewelry

I remember meeting this lovely lady at a Mon Amie MEG Jewelry trunk show. www.monamiebridal.com. I instantly liked her! I was very excited when she sent pictures of her wedding. She sent the link to her photography site, but these were the only images we could pull for the blog. It's too bad, because her photos are very unique and gorgeous. She is wearing the Sabrina lariat and earrings. They are just now available, as the 2009 line. But she had a sneak peak, and knew this set was for her. She looks stunning! Thanks for sharing your photos! Best to both of you!

world weaver at Folio Fashion Restaurant

We had two VERY special occasions to celebrate on the 29th of Nov.! First it was my very talented, amazing, inspiring and gorgeous girlfriend Marina Kostina's show at Folio Fashion Restaurant in Chicago. She is the designer of World-Weaver. http://www.world-weaver.com/. She tells stories and educates through her clothing. Not only are her clothes and accessories fantastic, they also promote global awareness. You HAVE to check out the website! I expecially love her hats (you have seen me in several of them, on this blog).
The other important part of our day was celebrating Jonathan's birthday! Happy Birthday to the very special Jonathan. We, at MEG Jewelry, feel very blessed to have Jonathan working with us. He is inspiring with his kindness and sincerity. I promise you, that if you own a piece of MEG Jewelry that Jonathan makes, it was created for you, with a lot of love!
So, Jonathan, his hip friend Michael, Rod, and I spent a weekend in the windy city eating great food, and having an amazing time. Did I mention I saw Chic Chicago at the Chicago History Museum?! Very cool...check it out, if your in Chicago.

Sandwich day in San Fran

This is how we spent Sandwich day (the day inbetween my birthday and our wedding anniversary). We took a ferry from Sausolito to San Fran. Rod and I are crazy walkers, so we walked the entire day ALL around the city. Rod was pretty excited to walk "the most crooked street". We had a lot of fun. We also went to see our new friends Meghan and Lindsie from Haute Bride. They are super cool chics and have a great boutique.

West Coast Birthday!

After a trunk show at Mon Amie (yes, I forgot to take pictures...sorry). Rod and I went up the coast to our favorite little American getaway Sausolito, for my birthday and our anniversary. This is how we spent my birthday. Maxing and relaxing! It was an awesome day. Perfect sunny weather on the Pacific Ocean. Rod and I went to the local grocer, and bought all the fixins for a picnic. We picniced for several hours on my fav foods of cheese, italian sausages, sushi, and grapes. Ooops did I forget the wine?! Yes, we forgot glasses, so we drank out of the bottles. Not very ladylike, but oh so fun! Nothing like a bottle of wine in the afternoon. From there Rod and I went to the spa, and then off to dinner...the rest of the night shall be left up to your imagination.

Martha Stewart Party

Every year, during Bridal week, Martha Stewart holds the best party at Tavern on The Green. This year was a blast!

An Affair To Remember

I appropriately named our fashion show An Event to Remember after my favorite (Cary Grant) movie. And it was an event to remember. This is what the NY Bridal Couture Market is all about. All the major magazines and websites were their... Martha Stewart, The Knot, Brides, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, www.getmarried.com, and many others. The new collections had raved reviews! Garnette Avenue www.garnetteavenue.com and MEG Jewelry www.megweddingjewelry.com teamed up for this awesome event. Check out the models, wearing the Nicoletta earrings, Nicky earrings and Althea necklace.
Below the models are wearing the Britt Earrings, Lisle hair jewelry, Maine earrings, Edelweiss hair jewelry and Elise necklace.

Sleeping with Cary Grant!

I don't know how to even begin this blog....I am still pinching myself. I am a HUGE Cary Grant fan...HUGE! Fortunately I think he reincarnated into Rod, because my husband is as equally deboniar and dashing.
Well, when looking at where to have our runway show for the 2009 line, at the NY Couture Bridal Market, we chose the Warwick Hotel. Here is the exciting news. This gorgeous suite and balcony is where Cary Grant lived for 12 years! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Yes I slept in Cary Grants bed! I was shaking with excitement when we arrived. This is the view from the balcony. AMAZING!!!! This is the view of the park and of 6th Avenue. Everyone back at the MEG Jewelry office wanted pics, so this is me setting up and talking with one of my associates Jonathon, on the phone.

Dancing at the Debi's

Rod is the luckiest man in the world! Surrounded by all this beauty. He tore it up on the dance floor! Especially with the ladies at the Left Bank www.leftbankjewelry.com It's a good thing I am not a jealous girl, because Beth was a sassy number!
Here are my girls from The Perfect Dress. www.theperfectdress.net They get my vote for the best dressed of the night! They both looked SO beautiful.

And two of the crew from I do too bridal. www.idotoobridal.com Not only are they beautiful, they are some of the nicest women, love them! I always look forward to seeing them, at the Bridal Market!

None other than the fabulous designer Stephanie of Stephanie James couture. http://www.stephaniejamescouture.com/
She is looking stunning in a new undescribably amazing dress from her 2009 line line (in a fashion version). And who's that handsome man in a shirt and tie?! OHHYEAH!!! I am one lucky girl!

The Princess of the Mississippi (yes, me sillies!). With the Italian Royalty. The two dashing young men from Garnette Avenue http://www.garnetteavenue.com/ show off their matching handsome suits. The Italian blokes custom made this amazing dress for moi. I designed the jewels. http://www.megweddingjewelry.com/
Leo did my hair and I did my makeup in a bit of a tribal- animalistic- golden way.

2009 Spring/Summer line available!

Very exciting news, all you MEG Jewelry fans! The 2009 spring/summer line is now complete and available! Check out your local MEG Jewelry boutiques. If you are not near a boutique, do not hesitate to call Nicole at MEG Jewelry's phone number 563.252.1011. Several new lines are being added this season! I have designed an ankle and foot jewelry line. Perfect for the beach bride or 1950's bride with tee length dresses. I also think a very chic accessory present to give your bm (if they are wearing tee length dresses) are ankle bracelets. I have also designed a "something blue" line. Beautiful gems with hints of blue. Yes...after many many many requests, I have finally added brooches! AND I designed a "Couture line". These are pieces that are either a bit pricier than our typical $25-$250.00 jewelry, or maybe a bit edgier and more "editorial" I am in love with the Couture Line, and the rest of my 2009 line...I hope you all agree with me!
I am currently adding the 2009 line and some new additions to the website. So please be patient and keep checking back regularly!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! CHEERS!
Thanks for making 2008 an amazing year at MEG Jewelry! We look forward to continued fabulousness and success in 2009!
