Rachel and Michael's wedding

Rod and I were at our wonderful friends' wedding over Memorial Day weekend. When I have pics of the bride and bridal party, I will blog them.
I am wearing the MEG Jewelry Long Jewel shoulder dusters, Long Jewel/Max bracelet, custom gold, sapphire, and tourmaline ethnic-feeling necklace and a custom Jewel/Max. I also took a necklace and weaved it through my braids... This was a great look, and one I hope some of you reading this will try. Make sure the necklace is made of chain, not stranded, so it doesn't kink the necklace. Clasp the necklace into your hair, and use the necklace as a strand of hair...easy!

Super models!

Does this beautiful woman look familiar? It is THE MEG Jewelry model. I always get excited when I get to see our MEG Jewelry model,Marissa! Here we were fortunate to be at a wedding together Not to sound cheesy, but she is even more beautiful because she has the best personality! She is a bridesmaid and she is wearing the Long Jewel earrings, from MEG Jewelry.

Mia's Bridal...Fun, Frolick and Fabulous!

You can see how much fun we are having at Mia's Bridal in Olathe, KS. www.miasbridal.com. Mia, the owner and very gifted tailor, started the business on her own and has watched it grow over the years. She has done an amazing job! What I loved most about this boutique is how kind, caring, honest, and fun all the associates are. Their customer service is exceptional! I think you can see how much fun they have by these pictures. They all loved trying on and picking their favorite jewelry. They also get so excited when brides find their perfect dress and accessories. Thanks for a great trunk show!

The 3M's (Marah, Marissa, and Meg) Show some SSSSAAASSSYYYness along with these two gorgeous brides-to-be. One bride looking radiant in the Olivia necklace, Guenda earrings, and new Anne bracelet...mmmm. Our next bride is a Harley chic, getting married on Halloween. Fortunately I had the perfect combination of lace and black in this custom Nicoletta bracelet, Nicky earrings and Nicoletta necklace...She rocks!
Now here is the soon-to-be Mrs. Rachel Droessler. She is wearing a couture Martina Liana gown with MEG Jewelry. She has chosen the new Prince necklace, Anne bracelet, and Theron earrings. Rachel and I have become friends over the years. ( She works with me at Marah's trunk shows, and also happens to be marrying Marah's brother...lucky guy!) I am so excited for she and Michael! They are both beautiful people, who are perfect for each other! Rod and I will be attending their wedding...so watch for future pics of this beautiful bride and company! Congratulations Rachel and Michael! ...and Ozzie

What a trunk show is like at the Perfect Dress

These photos showcase what a wonderful experience a trunk show can be. Lori and company are wonderful hosts! They give 100% customer service. Letting you know how important you and your wedding day is to them. When she hosts a trunk show it is nothing short of perfect! Let me set the mood...Relaxing, warm, and fun atmosphere, handmade confections from a local cake designer (lots of frosting- just the way Rod and I like it!), champagne bubbles ..Lori, how many bottles did we go through?! I can still hear all the laughter and 'oohs' and 'ahhs'. Here are two brides that I was fortunate to work with. Both are wearing pieces from my spring/summer collection and my upcoming fall/winter collection.
The beautiful bride in the strapless "cloud" gown, chose the new Prince lariat, Edelweiss hair jewelry , Sylvia earrings, Alice bracelet...she is a dream!
The gorgeous bride in the halter dress chose the new Sunny hair jewelry, Dahlia necklace, and Theron earrings....Stunning!

The wonderful experience you will have, if you choose your dress/accessories from the lovely associates at September's Bride. www.septembersbride.blogspot.com . Lucky you!

Feeling fabulous in Fabulous Furs

I have to talk about one of my favorite things... faux fur! As the Eco friendly, yet fashion loving girl that I am, Fabulous Furs ( www.fabulousfurs.com ) makes me soooo happy...not only is it not hurting animals, it is also designed and made locally in Covington KY (across the river from Cincinnati). LOVE them! As a Midwest girl, I need warmth, as a designer I need chic, and as a consumer I need affordable. Fabulous furs has given it all to me!

And the winner is.....

Rod and I had a splendid time at an Academy Awards party. We dressed in our finest and had loads of fun! Of course I chose my favorite dress, but notice I switched up the accessories. If you look at me in this Garnette Avenue dress, at the Debi Awards, I completely changed the look by changing all accessories (yes, even the hair color). This is a great example of how accessories REALLY makes the look and the feel for the occasion. At the Debi Awards, I felt more fun, playful and animalistic. At the Oscars, I was all about Old Hollywood glam! Rod went for chic (jeans with dagger belt, dagger shoes, and of course hip snake bracelet) with a slight Cary Grant debonair twist, suit coat and tie.
Now let's talk about the jewels....key into a few of the upcoming pieces in the 2009 fall/winter Bridal line. Dazzling Swarovski crystal necklace and bracelet, fabulous earrings and a gorgeous Swarovski leaf hair comb... I will start showcasing some of these new lovers at my upcoming trunk shows!
Lastly, I decided to go back to blonde....It seems that every time I create a new jewelry line, my hair changes to go with that line. So I went back to my blonde "roots". Cheers!

Nolyn Thomas has arrived!

For those of you who know Nicole (office manager for MEG Jewelry), she had a beautiful baby boy on February 15th. Now even though he was born the day after Valentine's Day, he still captured every person's heart who has met him. He is simply perfect! Bravo Nicole! Everyone is healthy and happy! Stay tuned for pictures.....
