Happy 2nd birthday September's Bride!

I was blessed to celebrate September's Bride ( septembersbride.com ) 2nd anniversary with my Holland, MI family! It also happens to be Rachel's (long blonde hair beauty, in the photo) 1st wedding anniversary!!! And Tami (chin length blonde hair beauty, in the photo) 17th wedding anniversary!!! We had a wonderful time!

I was just informed that September's bride is now carrying vintage and gently worn bridal dresses for those of you who are all about recycling!

I can not say enough about this top notch bridal boutique! Kleinfeld's fantastic reputation is all true. They are so kind and wonderful! The boutique is spectacular and they only want the bride to be to be 200% happy. I feel so thrilled and blessed that my work is at such a spectacular place! The beautiful bride with Marah is wearing the Emma necklace, Susan earrings, and Anne bracelet. Marah is wearing the Nicoletta bracelet and Mae earrings. Girls day in New York

Throughout the years of working together, Marah, owner of Marah's Elegant Bridal (http://www.marahselegantbridal.com/) and I have become fabulous friends. Rod and I are fortunate to be treated by her

family as if we are family. So when I had a few extra days inbetween my trunk show at Kleinfelds, the ladies came to New York to play! The weather was spectacular so we were able to eat outside at some of the best restaurants in the city. On one day we spent most of our time shopping, eating, and drinking in Soho (my personal fav area of NY). In the morning we had to stop by the Today show to see one of Marahs favorite men (ofcourse third in line to her cool husband and cutie son), Matt. On another day we went to the meat packing district where we ate at the very delicious and chic Spice market (sounds familiar?...that's where the last scene of Sex in the city movie was filmed for Samantha's b-day).

Beautiful Bride

I love it soooo much when I get pictures of brides, that I worked with at a trunkshow or that ordered from a boutique----hint hint ladies! Send me photos!!!!

This bride was on military duty overseas, but her lovely mother and sister came to a trunkshow at Fabulous Bridal. The sister and mother worked with me to find exactly what her sister wanted. They emailed with her and as you can see, it all worked out perfectly! This beautiful bride is wearing the Alexandra earrings (these are clip-ons), Molly bracelet, and Nadia necklace. Congratulations Robyn and Nick! Best to both of you!

Food blog

We, at MEG Jewelry, are very blessed to have our own personal chef that creates delicious and garden fresh breakfasts and lunches EVERYDAY!!! His name is Rod Lammers and he is not only a fabulous husband but a fabulous cook! Now people always want to know what he cooks, so we thought we would start a food blog. Unfortunately we only have a week's food blog (our camera was stolen, so we don't have all of the images--and it has put taking pictures to a standstill, until we make time to get a new camera).

Let me break it down some of the dishes. We have cajun cooked freshfish (from our front yard- the Mississippi River) with cajun style zucchini (courtesy of our card) and a garden fresh cuccumber salad, with summers' favorite...watermelon of course. For dessert, Nicole surprised us all with an ice cream cake for a early birthday cake for Rod's b-day (Happy Sept. 13th Birthday, Rod). Next is a lovely breakfast sandwhich of homeade bread, eggs, tomatoes and basil...my personal favorite breakfast! Lunch was jamaican style Jerk chicken and beans....Rod's favorite! In the morning we love buckwheat pancakes with berries on top...this one has raspberry sauce on it. In the photographed it looks like a halloween pancake...a little freaky. For beautiful friend Lea and her husband dropped by to celebrate her birthday with a breakfast on the Mississippi, our front yard. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

New line is complete!!!!

I am very excited to have completed my new 2010 Spring/Summer line! I am in love! I was inspired by a twist of Bohemian and Old Hollywood. My main inspiration....Mae West. What a stylish, independent, smart, confident, and sexy woman. Here is a little sneak peak...more to come!

The owner of Fabulous Bridal boutique www.fabulous-bridalboutique.com is also the owner and designer of Fabulous Furs www.fabulousfurs.com. I know I have mentioned Fabulous furs before, as I am a HUGE fan! The owner Donna was so kind to gift me with some amazing faux fur accessories. So not only do they have faux fur coats, they also have soft eye masks (perfect for a frequent traveler like myself) and ultra chic animal print sunglasses. Thanks!
